Ultramotive Technologies currently offers its CARBON drive solution for sale in small volumes. This was the drive system recently demonstrated in the DGR Civic which we raced from Darwin to Adelaide in the 2009 Global Green Challenge.

Ultramotive is finishing development of the DIRECT in wheel direct drive motor for lightweight and sports vehicles based on the same electromagnetic arrangement.

On the drawing board at Ultramotive is the HELIUM high performance, compact miniature version of the CARBON. It uses a lower pole count and spins to higher speeds. This motor will be suitable for electric motorbikes and some vehicle applications. It is also well suited to vehicle use with a gearbox.
