Currently under development is the Ultramotive DIRECT, a wheel motor version of the CARBON electric drive motor. Its high torque density is well suited to direct drive applications. Ultramotive has a long history of wheel motors with the DIRECT being the latest iteration in a series of designs.

The DIRECT has a peak torque of 522Nm and a continuous torque of 122Nm all whilst weighing only 40kg (excluding inductors). Contact Ultramotive for further details.
